Crochet Braids: Take Care of your OWN Hair too
Hello! I am about to remove my crochet braid for the month of August this week. Needless to say this is my one and just long-term go to protective style! I have been amazed how well my hair does when I only leave it ALONE. I was not a believer in wear protective styles long term until I find the right one for me. I will not snub protective style anymore. Whatever protective style you choose to wear, Saints, wear it well and make sure to take care of yourself hair too.
Do Not Neglect Your Own Hair
Whatever protective style you choose to wear, funnel hair ,please make sure to take care of yourself hair too. I have meet some people who have a protective style (wig, weave, etc.) but neglect to still care for their hair and scalp. Not properly maintain your hair and scalp with a protective style can lead to dandruff and even patchy hair loss. Keeping your scalps clean and your hair moisturize when wear protective styles. I personally moisturize my hair daily and cleanse my scalp week while in crochet braid. I oil my scalp with Jamaican black castor oisl every other day too.
You may not be able to see your own hair while in a protective style but it does not mean it is not there. If you stay on top of care for your hair while in a protective styles, you will see amazing result. Keep you dedication to yourself hair and scalps while in a protective styles so there will not be a set back when your hope are steps want in your hair care journey.
I pray all is well with everyone every day. stay near the cross because you never know who you may meet there. Blessings!
