The tools you need for custom lace front wigs
Human hair lace frontal wig, wig stand or mannequin head, t-pins, tweezers, cream developer, bleach, comb, disposable gloves, water bottle, spoon, needle and thread, glue.

Steps of customizing the lace frontal wigs

1. Place the lace front wig

Put your lace wig on the wig stand first and secure it well with the t-pin.

2. Bleach the knots

Get your bowl, add about 2-3 scoops of powder bleach in the bowl and go with cream developer. We don't need to bleach the actual hair on the lace, just doing the knots, you can apply the mixture thick and thin. Wear your disposable gloves and apply the bleach all over you frontal along the hairline, spread it with a spoon, go ahead and put it down on an aluminum foil and let it stand for about 30 minutes. Wash it off with neutralizing shampoo.

3. Tweezing

Divide the wig into two parts and wet the front hair with some cool water. Use your tweezers to move the hairline so that it looks more natural. Grab your comb to part a small part of hair from the wig, it's better choose a rat tail comb with fine teeth, then grab your tweezers and start tweezing from behind the hairline, don't use them on the part. This would be a bit time-consuming, it depends on the frontal thickness. Do not over tweeze your frontal and leave bald spots.

4. Make or customize your wig

If you don't know the size of you wig, you can measure with a tape, from front to nape and side to side, mark it. Pull that frontal down not even barely an inch from the wig cap, go ahead and pin the frontal onto the mesh cap, go in with your needle and thread. Use a tinted spray or foundation on your lace to create scalp like appearance.

5. Blow-dry

Use your blow dryer on the cool setting and make sure that the lace front wig matches your skin perfectly.

6. Styling

Use your flat iron for straightening the hair or curl iron for curling textures, then add some lace glue to the side and go in with your sponge, then wait until that glue is dry clear so wait till it's dry clear and tacky and then pull that lace down.
